All videos on the device by folder, with thumbnails, search and sorting. Scrolls smoothly with thousands of files.

Open from anywhere

Pick a file with the system picker or choose Replayer in “Open with” from any file manager or messenger.

Gestures and speed

Double-tap to seek 10 seconds, brightness and volume sliders, speed from 0.25× to 3×, fit, crop and fill modes, a screen lock against accidental taps.

Audio and subtitles

Switch audio tracks and embedded subtitles, or load your own .srt and .vtt files.

Resume where you stopped

Position and speed are remembered per video and restored after a restart.

Background playback

Keep listening with the screen off, with controls in the notification and on the lock screen. Prefer pausing instead? One switch in Settings.

Private by design

Replayer has no internet permission, no analytics, no ads and no account. It only reads the videos you allow it to see. Notifications are used only for playback controls.

Install

Download the APK to your phone.
Open it and allow installing from your browser or file manager when Android asks.
Start Replayer and grant access to your videos, or just open a file with it.
